Promoting good health etiquette by making hand sanitizer readily available to employees and customers, requiring employees to wash their hands frequently, and encouraging all employees to wear facial masks and gloves in order to protect themselves and others.
Developing or adopting flexible scheduling policies so that employees can either social distance or work from home if possible, as well as encouraging sick employees or employees experiencing symptoms to stay at home.
Providing education and training to employees about health and safety procedures, all in an easy to understand format, like fact sheets and posters, and in the appropriate language and literacy level for all employees.
Limiting or eliminating any unnecessary travel and close interaction with others, maintain at least 6 feet of distance from other people, and explore the option of using video conferencing or calls to communicate in lieu of in-person meetings.
